I get it, strokes are very serious and take time to recover from. I hope this guy eventually does recover.
However putting a currently seriously ill man who can barely speak into the Senate is just what I have come to expect from Democrats.
And we haven’t even discussed his history of Violent Racism.
Not to mention that the man has never had a job. Not in the private sector, at least. His first paying job (which was an honorarium) was Mayor of a tiny PA city that he made worse over his tenure, and attempted to put in a "green economy" in a former steel mill town.
His next and first actual "paying" job is his current position as Lt. Governor of PA where he has called for many radically left positions such as the immediate release of over 30% of PA's prison population!
The man lives in a gigantic home that his sister purchased for IIRC $400k (or thereabouts) and then in return, sold it to Fetterman for $1!!! He and his wife and children have lived off of his parents largess and a trust fund up until the day he became Lt. Governor.
I also feel very sorry and sad for his current condition. Strokes are horrible, but I know that when I had "mini-strokes" it took me a long time to get rid of the brain-fog and they took my drivers license away. Stroke victims (especially very recent strokes) cannot serve in the U.S. Senate competently. Not that I believe Fetterman would have been competent without his medical problems.
